Estoy de acuerdo con el primer amigo – migrar a Firefox y es posible que nunca quiere usar IE de nuevo.

How to configure Yahoo toolbar pop-up blocker = +

What is your operating system? If XP, have you upgraded to Windows XP Service Pack 2? If not, I suggest you do so, for amoung other security reasons it stops unwanted popups by disableing Windows Messenger Service and Alerter by default. = =SP2 = support.microsoft.com =

Powerfull Popup “Killer” = = “Powerfull Popup “Killer” Kills ANY popup window created by script or user click in Internet Explorer. You can choose several ways to handle popup windows.”

Smart Popup Blocker =

“PopupFilter is free and blocks all forms of pop-ups and pop-unders, including intrusive Messenger Service ads and the new Flash-animation pop-ups. In addition to automatic blocking, you can now set up your own Allow and Block lists for more personalized control. PopupFilter does not contain any form of spyware.” =

SpywareBlaster/SpywareGuard – Freeware =
and
WinPatrol = FREEWARE! =

Check the Add/Remove Programs section if any adware has got installed. Since you dont use IE, you could always chane the default settings to run Firefox when opening links etc.

Hi there,

With the vagueness of the question, this could be one of 2 major infections.

The first could be something known as “Myzor” or “Security Center” which hijacks your browser on every launch. This also goes under the name of Spy Heal, Pest Capture, Malware Wipe, etc.

The second is when your taskbar informs you of being infected and then launched a spoof / fake antivirus page offering to remove this infection in exchange for payment. These usually go under the guise of SpyLocked, Spy Dawn, AntiVermins, VirusBurst, SpyFalcon, SpywareQuake, etc.

The best and easiest way to remove any of these is by installing the Free Trial of Prevx1. This will scan your PC and remove any infections free of charge.

If you do not have firefox get it now and use it instead of internet explorer so you dont get any more spyware

To remove the spyware/trojan/virus run steps 1-2-3

1) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now .Update it (Latest updates 04-04-2007) and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode

1b) Run AVG Anti-Spyware Free
or
SUPERAntiSpyware Home Edition (free version)

2) Do an online virus scan to check and remove virus and spyware if you still have viruses on your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .

3) Get another anti virus program if your present anti virus program is not protecting you any longer

Protection once your computer is spyware free

If you still have question or problems let the experts take a look at whats happening on your computer.Visit the HijackThis Logs and Analysis forum. or
